K-8 Substitute Teachers 

Torah Day School of Ottawa is seeking passionate substitute teachers to join our team and make a positive impact on our students' education. We are looking for substitute teachers for the following subjects: Math, English, French, Science, Social Sciences, and Physical Education across grade levels.

Subjects: Math, English, French, Science, Social Sciences, Physical Education 

Hourly Rate: $20 - $35 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging and effective instruction in the assigned subject areas.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Adapt to the needs of students and provide additional support when necessary.
• Communicate with school staff and parents as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience in teaching or tutoring K-8 students.
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments.
• Teaching certification or relevant educational background is preferred but not required.
