Executive Assistant/Office Manager

Carly has been a proud TDSO staff member since January 2020. She is Rabbi Perton's Executive Assistant and also the Office Manager of the school - needless to say, she is a busy gal!

Carly has had the opportunity and pleasure of working in vaious fields - everything from veterinary hospitals and wildlife rehabilitation centres, retirement residences, and in radio broadcasting.  Radio was her first love; as it is what she studied in college. With working in such different areas, it has given Carly the chance to show off her sense of humour, love of helping others and multitasking 24/7.   

A typical day for Carly at TDSO is never the same; which is one of many things she loves about her job. You can always find Carly assisting Rabbi Perton with lots of interesting tasks, keeping family and staff informed with our TDSO newsletter and Facebook page, answering inquiries over the phone & email and applying band-aids to those in need.

Carly and her family have proudly called Ottawa home for nearly 21 years (she is originally from the Niagara Region). Carly's husband, daughter, son and dog Charlie are the loves of her life. They enjoy exploring the city, playing games, spending time at Sandbanks in the summer and going to concerts (minus the dog :) ).
