Rabbi Aryeh Kravetz

School Rabbi and Dean of Judaic Studies

As School Rabbi and Dean of Judaic Studies, Rabbi Kravetz oversees our School’s spiritual atmosphere (ruach) and the Judaic Studies curriculum. He works to build, improve, and assess teaching and learning in Chumash, Navi, Ivrit, Halakha, Mishna, and Gemara and help our students find joy and connection in tefillah and mitzvot across the school day and yearly calendar. 

Rabbi Kravetz has a Master’s degree in Jewish Education from the London School of Jewish Studies/University of Middlesex (Middlesex, United Kingdom) and a B.A. in English and Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He previously taught Grade 10 English at Ner Israel Mechina High School (Baltimore) where he built a new reading and writing curriculum. Rabbi Kravetz received semicha from Rabbi Yitzchak Berkovits at the Jerusalem Kollel and has taught at Yeshivas Aish HaTorah (Jerusalem) and in many community and synagogue settings. He has held teaching certifications from the states of Maryland and Illinois. 

Rabbi Kravetz is the Rav of Congregation Beit Tikvah of Ottawa in Craig Henry.
